In the present trial, the apex Court is to hear the arguments and decide whether to delay the verdict further or not in the wake of avoiding any untoward incident and religious disputes.

Showing the seriousness to the matter, the fate of the special leave petition seeking deferment of the Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya, the bench consists of highly dignitary lawyers of the country including the Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia. The other judges of the bench will be Justice Aftab Alam and Justice K S Radhakrishnan.

Moreover, the Supreme Court has asked the government’s top law officer, Attorney General G. E. Vahanvati, to be present during the hearing. It means the court could pose a few questions to the government on the issue.

Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court listened to the petition filed by the formal bureaucrat Ramesh Chand Tripathi seeking deferment of the verdict till December 2010 in the wake of the crisis of the paramilitary forces to control any untoward incident that would have occurred following the pronouncement of the verdict.

The petition pleaded to defer the verdict because of the large deployment of the security forces in the commonwealth Games, Bihar election and Kashmir.

Well, it seems that the fate of the disputed land will be decided after the current scrutiny.
