CBSE has announced the result for 10th class board exam 2010 in grades and students are now concerned on how they can convert their cgpa to marks to get an approximate idea of how much mark they have obtained. So, here is a quick note on the CBSE Grading System 2010 to help you understand the whole concept.

CBSE Grades vs Marks
91-100 – A1
81 -90 – A2
71 -80 – B1
61-70 – B2
51 -60 – C1
41 -50 – C2
33-40 – D
21-32 – E1
00-20 – E2

Using the table above, you can approximately calculate the marks you have scored in the examination. Please note that a person who is getting (say) 71 marks will have the same grade with the person who gets (say) 80.
