After an immensely private engagement on Saturday, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni looks all set to marry Sakshi Rawat on the outskirts of Dehradun on Sunday evening. The marriage ceremony is scheduled to be held at an auspicious time of 8.35 pm and the venue is Vasundhara Raje-owned, country villa.

Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and R.P. Singh have already arrived at the venue. Among the celebrities, John Abraham too is said to be already present. According to the Director General of Police, Uttarakhand, “I have not got an invite. They are taking the assistance of local police. They want to have their privacy and we don’t want to encroach on it.”

A road block, more than 1 one and a half kilometer from the venue has been set up and no media person is being allowed to go beyond it. According to a well placed source, Sakshi’s cousin Abhilasha Bhisht, who is a Deputy Inspector General of Police and is away on deputation on an UN assignment hails from Dehradun. Sakshi’s grandfather also lives in Dehradun. Dhoni and Sakshi’s father worked together in Ranchi and Dhoni has reportedly frequented Dehradun and Mussorie during the past two years.
