On a special occasion of completing 25 years of service, MTNL announced on Thursday to cut down the ISD calling rates for calls to over 26 countries for a promotional period of three months.
As such, the slashed calling rates will come into effect from Friday. The calls to countries like Canada, US and China will cost Rs 1 per minute, calling rates to Argentina, Bahrain, Cyprus, Jordan, South Korea, Malaysia and Sweden would come down to Rs 3 per minute and the rate for Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Columbia, Indonesia, Iraq, Russia, Taiwan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam calls will be Rs 5 per minute.
The offer would attract the existing customers and new customers to join and make more calls within the given promotional period and enjoy the benefits thereafter.
