Just before Bangalore Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians were about to start the play, two bombs went off outside the stadium. The minor bomb blast injured 5 people. After three hours later another bomb was diffused.

Two low intensity bombs blasted in 3:15 just 45 minutes away from an IPL match between home team Bangalore Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians. The explosives was placed behind a plastic board of the wall in Chinnaswamy stadium gate no 12. Four police and one security guard were injured in the blast. Three policemen have been shifted to ICU. The explosives damaged two feet of the wall. Ten people who came to see the match were also injured. Five cases of eardrum problem due to the bomb blast sound are still in treatment. After sometimes later police tells that match will be going on and match started after 45 minutes.

Another blast was in Anil Kumble Circle just some miles away from the stadium. This was also a minor blast and no one was hurt in that.

15-15 over match was played instead of 20-20 match. Mumbai Indians won the match.

After three hours of twin blast in gate no.12, another bomb was found in gate no.8but the police diffused it. When Forensic experts along with bomb disposal squad were searching they found out this one.

Police are still investigating.

The Bangalore IPL attraction, Chinnaswamy Stadium saw a dark day on Saturday morning. An Explosion took place outside the stadium, which left the people in panic. The IPL match between, the Bangalore Royal Challengers and The Mumbai Indians, which were to take place, was later delayed due to the same.

The blast which happened to take place was of low intensity according to the local police. In the blast 8 people were said to have been injured, which included a security man of the stadium.

The explosion took place near the wall outside gate no: 12 of the stadium. And there were no reasons to panic and measures have been taken, is what the Bangalore Police Commissioner had to say.

According to the local police, the explosive was seemingly wrapped in a plastic bag outside the stadium. The people, who have come to watch the match, should stay calm and co-operative with the police, in order to maintain the safety measure and go through the security procedures.

The match, today among both the teams, was to finalize their position in the semi-finals. Mumbai Indians have already been qualified. But Bangalore royal Challengers are also close to securing a last four-place.
